Free economic zone “Minsk” 

(FEZ “Minsk”)

FREE ECONOMIC ZONE “Brest”

(FEZ "BREST") 

In 1996, at the start of qualitative economic transformations, the first Free Economic Zone was established in the Republic of Belarus.

In order to implement their investment projects with the possibility of creation of their own infrastructure, investors are granted a lease on land plots. A Lease Agreement is concluded between the investor and the administration and remains unaltered in the course of duration of the investment project, i.e. during the period of time when the enterprise has the status of a resident enterprise in the “Brest” FEZ. 

The cost of construction of production areas amounts to 200-500 US dollars per 1 square meter . 

The cost of purchase of previously used production areas amounts to 150-350 US dollars per 1 square meter, depending on the location and technical condition of the facility. 

AS OF NOVEMBER 11, 2020, ENERGY COSTS ARE: 

  • Electricity for industrial enterprises - 0.13 US dollars per 1 kW/h
  • Gas - 0.32 US dollars per 1 m³
  •  Water supply - 0.38 US dollars per 1 m³
  • Sewerage - 0.38 US dollars per 1 m³
  • Heating - 58 US dollars per 1 Gcal 

Free Economic Zone Gomel-Raton  

(FEZ “GOMEL-RATON”) 

is located in the south-east of the Republic of Belarus in the Gomel region. It is a highly developed industrial region of Belarus.

(FEZ "MOGILEV") 

is a part of the territory of the Republic of Belarus with definite borders.

Residents of "Mogilev" FEZ operate within a specially tailored legal environment. "Mogilev" FEZ was created by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No 66 of January 31, 2002, and consists of 18 sites with the total area of 3,339.4 hectares. The area of land lots available for implementation of green-field projects is over 400 ha. 

"Mogilev" Free Economic Zone has over 100 thousand sq.m. of idle production premises well suited for manufacturing needs. All "Mogilev" FEZ sites are characterized by highly developed engineering and transport infrastructure.

SPECIAL Economic Zone BREMINO ORSHA (SEZ BREMINO ORSHA)

was created on the basis of the Republic of Belarus Presidential Decree No.106 of March 21, 2019 for the purpose of integration of the Republic of Belarus into global logistic chains of goods turnover, developing of Orsha region and attractiуng of direct investments. 

A special legal regime has been approved for the period of 50 years on the territory of the zone. The managing company of “Bremino-Orsha” Special economic zone is “Bremino Group” LLC, national logistics operator. In addition to this, there is a departmental customs clearance point operating 24/7, a bank branch and an insurance agent.

HI-TECH PARK

was created in 2005 and is considered the leading IT cluster in Central and Eastern Europe with the best conditions for setting up and developing business. 

Hi-Tech Park provides new job opportunities. Over the period of 2017-2020 more than 37 thousand people were employed in the HTP companies. Presently Park’s labor force numbers more than 71 thousand. This is 1,5 % of the economically active population of Belarus. They produce 4% of GDP. HTP boosts regional development.
